Description
Castle Siege is a 2 player competitive board game where each player is given a side: attacker and defender. The attacking player's goal is to storm the defender's castle and reach their throne tile while the defender's objective is to kill the attacking player's captain. Each player collects gold each turn which is used to buy more units to place on the field as well as special cards that provide game altering abilities to the player.
Role
My main role on this project was game designer. I worked on crafting the game’s core game loop and card effects, honing it through weekly playtesting both within my team and externally. Additionally, I took on a light production role, keeping track of the team’s weekly progress using Trello boards and making sure we hit significant milestones on time. I also wrote the team internal documentation, and used that to write the final copy of the game’s rulebook.
